Intro Log || Last Call for Heroes

Characters: All the "Heroes of Light" (only new characters can start threads).
Where: Aqures Ixen.
When: February 1st - March 4th. New characters may wake up any time.

Summary: The new Heroes of Light awaken from Crystal Stasis and might find themselves in quite the predicament. Are they in Aqures Ixen, the desert, a forest or a completely empty plain? The choice is yours! You can have your character wake up anywhere, so long as the location is not sealed away (such as the Floating Ruins).

Please refer to the Information Post for more information regarding the state of Crystallis. Fear not however as soon a Moogle and maybe your friends shall come to you. Indeed, Heroes of Light in Aqures Ixen have access to a map that show them whenever a new Hero of Light appears.The Moogles are using it to quickly find any newcomers, but nothing prevents other Heroes of Light from using it to go to the rescue! The exception to this are characters who were formerly in the game: they will wake up from Crystal Stasis in the Hospital of Aqures Ixen.

Furthermore, feel free to plot out with players already in-game if you want for them to come and search for your character, find them, and plot their escape from a particularly dangerous place and the likes!

Like A White Iron Castle, That Reaches for the Sky!

Who: Sonic and YOU!
What: Sonic gets to try out his new Moogle-style Magitek Armor and Puppet! But, is it worth it?
Where: Continent of Ruin, later Aqures Ixen
When: Backdated to beginning of October

A) Continent of Ruin

"Alright, you sharp-toothed museum piece! I'm going to stomp you back to the Jurassic!"

Looks like a T-Rex escaped from the Temple of the Heroes of Light after a few passerbys decided to check it out for themselves. Instead, the dinosaur ended up meeting the fist of... a gigantic robotic Moogle? Stepping out of the cockpit is Sonic and his Moogle, Bean, both of them wearing a red and white jacket with black pants a pair of flight goggles.

"If you want them, you're gonna have to go through me and my robot, the Kuppoger-Z!" Sonic said, grinning.

"See, I told you it was a good name-kupo!" Bean replied.

"Let's hope it works just as well!" Sonic said, hopping back in and taking control of the machine. "Let's go, you ugly lizard!" With that, the dinosaur roared as Sonic charged forward.

B) Aqures Ixen

It would take awhile, but people within the city would see a giant machine sputtering to a stop as it changed from an airplane-like look to a robot form. As it stopped, its arms fell off as the cockpit opened up. A few seconds later, the head fell off, causing both Sonic and Bean to peek out, a little worried.

"Okay, so the fight was a little more rough than I expected! At least it wasn't the others I was using!" Sonic said, grinning sheepishly.

"Well, I hope we can find someone who can fix it cheaply-kupo!" Bean replied as the two hopped out.

"Eh, it's no biggie...!" Sonic replied, the two walking off, unaware of the machine acting... oddly.

Trying to avoid the meeting is a bad idea, as Palitutu mentioned she will use that very WEAPON to destroy Aqures Ixen if the Heroes feel cowardly.

Diamonds are Forever - May 26-30

Who: Kidd, Yuffie, Ales, Zidane, Sparks, Sonic, K'pandolu, Reno, Saori, Malik, Sephiroth, and whoever else answers the call.
Where: Aqures Ixen Observatory, Diamond Weapon Excavation Site - Lost Continent
When: May 26th-30th
Summary: Unwilling to wait any longer or leave it to the Calamity, Kidd mobilizes all willing volunteers to determine the fate of the Diamond Weapon themselves. But the resistance they find may not be what they expect.
Warnings: Violence

It was time to do something. The Calamity wouldn’t simply wait for them and deep down Kidd more feared what corruption it might bring to the WEAPON than what Kalki would do with it. At least she could guess how the villainous Tarutaru would use it. But if the WEAPON could be turned against them and empowered by the Calamity, that was not something she wanted to see. She had no evidence to back up her fears, but that didn’t stop this world from being so cruel.

There was one point of interference she couldn’t plan for however, and that was the moogle strike. And though she thought to ask she couldn’t simply get Bonnie to turn scab, and she respected her moogle too much to try, not even as an Assassin. And so letters of invitation were passed out as best they could by Kidd herself, reaching as many of her allies and the newcomers as she could, pretending not to notice the hooded moogle following her across town.

Hidden Truth [Log]

What: A log for everyone to gain the information in the Hidden Truth video tape.
Where: The Observatory.

There had been a flurry of letters sent out from Jack and Chiaki, first to Zelda to ask to borrow the Observatory, and then to every Hero of Light, alerting them that they had uncovered some intelligence received in the Heran Empire before the Capital had fallen to Crystal, and that everyone needed to see it immediately.

Jack, Chiaki, and a few others brought in a screen connected to a machine that some would recognize as a VCR. "With our peace mission to the Imperial Capital over Christmas, we returned with a recording made on 20th-century Earth technology, the kind that doesn't have an analogue on Crystallis. It took us time to build a machine to be able to play it. This information comes from Kalki, recorded what appears to be years ago. We obtained it from the Imperial Spy, Jenni. As of right now, we still have no reason to believe that Kalki is alive. But this comes from her, and I apologize to everyone who might be upset by seeing her again."

With that, Jack plays the recording. He stands by the screen and repeats the words for everyone to hear, for those who cannot understand English. Since Kalki's first words are to explain why she is recording it this way, it makes sense why he has to do this. He keeps his own emotions in check throughout, until the explanation of the Bard song that everyone gets to hear. That seems to upset Jack.

Once the recording is over, Jack pauses. "We will need some help from any other English speakers to create a written transcript of the recording so that anyone can access this information at any time. The tape and player will remain here for any Heroes to review. We ask that you please be careful with the machine."

Finally, Jack sits down to let the room descend into the inevitable chaos.

Summary: A Ball aboard the Enterprise, for well-dressed (mostly) Heroes of Light and their friends who want to dance and (especially) eat for free.
Warning: Nothing.

While the passing from a year to another isn't as big of an event as the Starlight Celebration, it is no reason to pass up an ocasion to celebrate and have fun. There are fireworks in all major cities and various activities to enjoy. Noticeably, there are gatherings of people in Aqures Ixen and Trano Golsaucia in particular, if only to conclude what is one of the most celebrated week in the year, and wish to each other the best possible year to come-- Though most people are worried about what's to come soon. After all, the end might be nigh with the Calamity about to take over the planet...

To celebrate this, the Heroes of Light have all been invited to stay aboard the Enterprise for a particularly prestigious and animated Ball. Indeed, the Enterprise will from Aqures Ixen and go all the way to Mysidia at midnight-- This way, New Year is going to last even longer than normal thanks to the magic of timezones.

There are tables with foods for everyone to eat and of course, music for people to dance together if they so wish. There is also a consequent number of chairs lined up, for all those who refuse to dance or are too awkward to do so.

Come Sit on Santa Sonic's Lap

"This is the worst decision I ever made." Sonic grumbled, perched on a chair, a line of children starting to form as more tourists began to arrive. They needed a Santa to come and let the kids sit on his lamp and tell him their wishes. Sonic didn't mind at first, but once he starts to see the line of kids of various shapes and sizes, he's come to realize that this is a horrible idea.

"Well, you can't back out now. You'll break these kids' hearts!" Bean replied, dressed up as an elf.

"Yeah, I know. Kinda miss romping through that forest, though..." Sonic replied, letting out a sigh before the first kids began to trickle through.

Das Friendly Monster

When Shining Armor found out that monsters dropped money, he was all over it.

Armed with what little he had, he set out, after sending a letter to interested parties. He had gotten two responses back.

"What ho, friendly adventurers! Are we all set to have some fun?" exclaimed Shining, really getting into his Dungeon Master persona.

Dice groaned as he grinned. "So yeah, I'm Shining, and thanks for accepting my request. I'd like to head a little deeper into the Calm Plains for a bit. Is that all right?"

Warnings: Ghosts. Also, make sure you list the ghosts you've caught in the monster post! Plus, feel free to say where You and Sonic are at - leaving it open for you guys! I can RNG ghosts if you want me to, just ask!

It was times like this Sonic wished Knuckles was around. Mostly to see him freak out because of all of these ghosts. For Sonic, though, this was going to be quite the adventure! With the Ghostbuster and Time Mage jobs active, Sonic was busy bouncing from one house to the next in search of the next ghost to capture. Had to be a tough one!

Stopping at one building, he knocked at the door. "Yo! Friendly neighborhood Heroes of Light here, ready to kick ghost butt!" He said. Answer or no, he threw the door open and began to investigate.
